Default PvP Trial Key.

So A friend of mine is thinking about buying a Guild Wars game, and I let him use the trial key from my old EoTN box that I dug up. However the trial key does not allow you to PvP. Not a large issue, but my friend says that he enjoys PvP more than PvE. Now I recall (possible incorrectly) that there might of been some way to PvP with a free trial. I searched both Wiki's and Guru, but I have found nothing.

Can anyone give me a definitive answer on whether or not a trial character could find a way to PvP? Thanks in advance.

And sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread. It seems right though.

Maybe the low level arenas like: Ascalon (1-10), North Shiver Peak (1-15), Shing Jea (1-10), Istan (1-10).

I'm not too sure about it either with the trial...but can your friend actually make a PvP character and go try and join? If he's trying to with a PvE character he might not be able to if hes new since you have to wait a good part of time till you can get to a port city and be able to use the boat to go to the temple.

It does not let his enter fights in the level 1-10 ascalon arena, nor can he make PvP characters. We are not sure about other forms of PvP. He was however allowed to fight in the PvP between pre and post. We think this has more to do with that fact that it was included in a quest than was stand alone PvP.

yeah, the pre to post quest is more of an intro to pvp and is required by that quest. If he can't even fight in the super lowbie arenas even, i would say it is very highly likely that he is not allowed to participate in any form of pvp. bummer
